Lunch & learn: Writing and responding to a letter of demand
A letter of demand is a document which lets another party know they owe you goods or an amount of money. This talk will discuss how you can write a powerful letter of demand which clearly states your case and tries to resolve your dispute.
The second half of the talk discusses the flip side: what should you do if you receive a letter of demand from a party? And what should you do if you disagree with what the other party has said?
This talk will try to provide practical skills in legal communication and general information about how you can try to resolve your matter without escalating straight to litigation.
